Since it is our first official holiday season as a family (you know, the hubby, the dog and I), I we decided it was the perfect time to begin sending out holiday cards. Then, when we came across these adorable cards at Minted.com, we decided it was a perfect fit. Minted allows you customize your card and then within a day or so, they will email you a preview to approve before printing. It was a fun and exciting process. And we were happy with how they turned out….
Sending out holiday cards really got me in the holiday spirit. During the holiday season (and during the holiday season only), I get in the mood for baking! Which is why pinterest always comes in handy. While I love my holiday standbys (like white chocolate covered pretzels, yum!), I also love scouring the internet for delicious looking baked goods. And with the assistance of pinterest, I can solely look at pretty images and then with a click of a mouse, I am taken directly to the recipes. How awesome is that!?! Here are a few festive treats I’m thinking about. In case you’re wondering why everything is peppermint themed, it’s because I have a small obsession with peppermint flavored desserts. What are your favorite holiday recipes?
Last but not least, my all-time ultimate favorite, Peppermint Patties. I usually opt for the York store bought variety, but for the holidays I should go all out, don’t you think?!?
Okay, now I am seriously off to go and bake, I have a Christmas party at work that I have to prep for!
