Restored Farmhouse

I previously posted a picture of this restored farmhouse in upstate New York here, and you may have also seen it in a spring issue of Dwell magazine, but today I wanted to show you some of the interior pictures of this home since I didn’t previously.  P.S. a few more pictures can be found on the Dwell website.

I love the modern twist on this 1920s farmhouse with custom floor-to-ceiling windows outlining the shape of the house.  The beautiful view provides the perfect backdrop for the open plan kitchen and dining room…

The simplistic white walls and rustic detailing are the perfect complement to the lightly decorated, colorful and eclectic furniture.

And in case you were wondering how the house is laid out, Dwell lets us in on the secret by providing a floor plan.  I just wish we could also get a sneak peak of the rest of the rooms in the home.

And in case you were wondering what this 1920s farmhouse looked like before it was renovated, here is a little sneak peak…

Big change right?!? It is amazing how much difference a little renovation can make huh?
