It was another great, but quick weekend which began with grabbing a drink at The Violet Hour in Wicker Park with a few of my co-workers, to then be followed by a little bit of dancing at Innjoy. This led to a slow Saturday morning walk through the Green City Farmer’s Market with my husband and Sumo. We picked up a lot of vegetables and some apple cider. I was tempted by the pumpkins, but we were running out of cash and went for apples instead…
After breakfast, we spent some time lounging on the couch with Sumo…
And then we took a long run outside on the beautiful fall day…
Saturday night we went to a wedding in Chicago that was held at the River East Art Center. It was beautiful and we had a great time catching up with my husband’s current and old co-workers, but I unfortunately forgot to take any pictures.
On Sunday, I drove up to Wisconsin to visit my good friend Kristen and Dave’s adorable baby boy, Brady. He was such a cute little peanut, it was so much fun to get to meet him…
And on Sunday we got to enjoy another beautiful fall day, and even though I am exciting to move to a new apartment with more space, I am definitely going to miss our amazing view (especially this time of the year)…
And of course, the gorgeous sunsets as well…
That pretty much sums up my weekend. Oh, and we got a new Aria™ Wi-Fi Smart Scale to go along with our Fitbits. The Fitbit tracks steps, calories, stairs climbed, etc. and the Smart Scale also logs information wirelessly online. It actually displays my name and my husbands depending on who steps on the scale. I know this is exciting stuff! It is my autumn resolution to get into good shape, I’ll keep you posted on how it goes…
